Auchentoshan

Auchentoshan Distillery is a Lowland whisky but the water is in fact drawn from Loch Katrine in the Highlands, 35km north of the distillery. The buildings suffered considerable damage during WW2, when the nearby Clydebank shipyards were the target of enemy bombing in 1941 (between 100,000 – 200,000 bombs dropped in the area).
