700ML / 57.2% ABV.
The cask strength version of Arran's peated Machrie Moor single malt. More robust than the 46% expressions, this is nonetheless citric and tropical, with vanilla and peat smoke to the fore. Batch 3 was released in September 2016.
Appearance: Pale gold.
Aroma: The nose is muscular, with campfire smoke and earthy peat lifted by juicy pineapple. More subtle pear and lime notes emerge over time.
Palate: The characteristic Arran citrus fruits are in evidence, with added spice and oak. There's a velvety chocolate feel, before the smoke reveals itself in the finish.
