700ML / 46% ABV.
Matured in the traditional style in American bourbon barrels, this whisky is then 'finished' in Tawny Port casks, sourced from Portugal. During this second period of maturation, the whisky interacts with the oak wood and derives a number of additional flavours and aromas specific to the Moscatel wine cask.
Colour: Liver chestnut.
Aroma: Luxurious chunky marmalade, sweet sultanas and fig pudding, with a dusting of cinnamon and cocoa.
Palate: Lush, velvety dark chocolate, glacé cherry and honey. Nutmeg, barley sugars and sweaty saddles round off the finish.
